General Terms and Conditions
Our flowers, subscriptions, postcards, and vouchers.
These general terms and conditions apply to all orders placed in our online shop: www.blumerei-kalkbreite.ch.
We work with plants that grow locally and regionally. The products shown in our webshop are therefore to be regarded as examples and may differ from the items actually delivered. Every Blumerei bouquet is a one-of-a-kind piece, created in our studio to order and adapted to the seasonal selection.
For vouchers and postcards, we offer a range of different designs. When ordering online, it is not possible to choose a specific design. For this reason, the design delivered may differ from those shown in the product images in the shop.
Prices and VAT
All listed prices are fixed prices including VAT. The VAT rate is based on the applicable rate for each type of product.
Delivery area and delivery days
We deliver exclusively within the city of Zurich. Delivery days for orders and flower subscriptions are Tuesday through Saturday. No deliveries are made on Sundays or public holidays. For deliveries to hospitals, etc., we follow the respective regulations regarding delivery times, scope, and method.
Order time and pickup/delivery time
Orders received on our working days by 10 am can be picked up on the same day from 3 pm until closing time at our shop in Kalkbreite. Delivery also takes place on the same day between 3 pm and 6 pm.
Orders received after 10 am or on days other than our working days can be picked up on the next working day from 3 pm until closing time at our shop in Kalkbreite. Delivery will also take place on the next working day between 3 pm and 6 pm.
Unfortunately, we cannot process orders on Mondays, Sundays, public holidays, or during our business holidays. During these times, neither pickup nor delivery is possible.
Delivery acceptance
It is in the customer’s interest to ensure that someone is present at the delivery address at the time of delivery. If no one is present and the delivery cannot be left at a previously agreed location, the delivery service will attempt to contact the recipient by phone. If this is also unsuccessful, the delivery will be returned to Blumerei Kalkbreite. Additional costs arising from repeated delivery attempts and/or failed deliveries may be charged to the customer. When placing an order for delivery, you can specify in the comment field how we should proceed if no one is present.
Accuracy of delivery address
Please check the delivery address carefully. Blumerei Kalkbreite accepts no liability for delays or failed deliveries due to incorrect or incomplete addresses. If a second delivery attempt is required because of incorrect or incomplete address information, additional costs may be charged to the customer.
Order, delivery, and pickup confirmation
After completing your order in our online shop, you will receive an order confirmation by email. This includes the order number, product information, purchase price, delivery date, and buyer/delivery address. If you do not receive this confirmation within four hours at the email address you provided, please take the following steps:

If you still cannot find the confirmation, please contact us by phone.
Blumerei Kalkbreite accepts no liability for damages resulting from entering an incorrect or invalid email address. The same applies if the order confirmation cannot be delivered due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., the email lands in the spam folder, mailbox is full, etc.). Customers are responsible for any resulting duplicate orders or incorrect deliveries and the associated costs.
Subsequent changes or cancellations
If you wish to make changes after completing your order and receiving the confirmation, please contact us by phone or visit the shop in person. We will accommodate change requests whenever possible. However, there is no entitlement to free adjustments or cancellation of the original order.
Vouchers
Our vouchers can only be redeemed in our shop in Kalkbreite. They are valid for five years from the date of issue. Cash payment of the voucher value, in whole or in part, is not possible. Blumerei Kalkbreite accepts no liability for loss, theft, or illegibility of vouchers.
Warranty and liability
Blumerei Kalkbreite is liable only for direct damage and only if the customer can prove that the damage was caused by gross negligence or intent on the part of Blumerei Kalkbreite, our assistants, or third parties commissioned by us. Liability is in all cases limited to the value of the order.
Applicable law and place of jurisdiction
This contract is governed exclusively by Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is the registered business address of Blumerei Kalkbreite in Zurich, ZH.
